02 - 1/3 cup fresh lime juice (about 3 limes)
03 - 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
→ Sweetener & Flavor
04 - 2 to 3 tablespoons agave syrup or honey, to taste
05 - 1/2 small jalapeño, seeds removed and thinly sliced (reserve extra slices for garnish)
→ Garnish & Presentation
06 - Coarse salt or chili-salt, for rimming glasses
07 - Fresh lime wedges, for garnish
08 - Watermelon wedges or balls, for garnish
09 - Ice cubes
# Cooking Steps:
01 - Rub a lime wedge around the rim of each glass, then dip rims into coarse salt or a chili-salt blend; set the glasses aside.
02 - Place watermelon cubes, fresh lime juice, fresh orange juice, agave syrup (or honey) and the sliced jalapeño into the blender.
03 - Blend on high until the mixture is completely smooth and uniformly puréed, about 30 to 45 seconds depending on blender power.
04 - Taste the purée and adjust sweetness or heat: add additional agave for more sweetness or more jalapeño for extra spice; blend briefly to incorporate.
05 - Fill prepared glasses with ice. If a smoother texture is desired, strain the purée through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher, then pour over ice. Otherwise, pour the blended mixture directly over the ice.
06 - Garnish each glass with a lime wedge, a jalapeño slice and a watermelon wedge or ball. Serve immediately.
